A two-day comprehensive tour of medieval Transylvania

The 1st day will get us through the Carpathian valleys, stopping to Peles Castle – the Royal summer residence, Rasnov – a fortified citadel from XV century, then the Old Town of Brasov – a medieval city settled by German colonists on XIII century, finishing the day Sighisoara, one of the most beautiful, best preserved and still inhabited medieval citadels in Europe.

During the 2nd day we will discover Rupea citadel which is one of the oldest archaeological sites in Romania, the first signs of human settlements dating from the Paleolithic and early Neolithic, plus some other UNESCO Heritage sites such us Prejmer or Viscri fortified churches.
